Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will make initial contact with potential clients and educate them on the impact that the company and product can have on their organization. You will serve a pivotal role in securing new accounts. Working hand-in-hand with Account Executives, you will turn leads into prospects and secure new appointments with key decision makers. Responsibilities
  • Proactively develop potential sales leads into viable prospects
  • Qualify sales leads generated by phone, internet marketing, demos, webinars, trade shows, industry and target account lists
  • Promote upcoming events and seminars to increase attendance, and create awareness for current product promotions
  • Identify key decision makers amongst targeted leads in order to kick-start sales
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Account Executives to determine essential strategy in order to secure key accounts in defined markets
  • Educate clients about terminology, features, and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Utilise Salesforce.com to track daily and weekly sales activities
Training & Progression
  • Initial one-week training period in Washington – all expenses paid!
  • Four-week sales boot-camps headed up by the Senior VP for Worldwide Sales
  • Ongoing product training
