Graduate Research Executive – Audience Measurement Team
  • Have you ever wondered how different types of media fit within people’s lives?  The appeal of different media channels?  Or how quickly the habits and behaviours of people are changing in response to developments in technology and new content providers? These are the types of question the team answer for their clients.
  • This team play a key role in measuring the actual consumption of a wide range of media to produce many of the UK’s media currencies. They support media companies and advertisers in understanding the people they reach.
  • As a Graduate Research Executive, you’ll be encouraged to take responsibility from the outset - thrown straight into working on live projects for some of their clients. You will gain exposure to a variety of research approaches, whilst working alongside industry experts.
Responsibilities

  • See large-scale quantitative research in action: planning strict delivery schedules and liaising with internal operational specialists, designing and improving processes to meet the changing needs of their clients and that reflect the changing nature of the media industry
  • You will focus on maintaining the quality of data being reported, investigating and resolving issues and recommending improvements
  • You will be able to answer key questions, like: ‘what do the latest changes in media consumption mean for key stakeholders and for the wider industry?’ ‘how can this information be used to predict future trends?’
  • You’ll help the team think about how they can deliver their reports and recommendations in an engaging and creative way 

Training & Progression
Their Graduate Training programme provides a comprehensive foundation in research and how it’s practically applied in a commercial environment. You’ll be trained in client management, project management and the nitty-gritty of research including methodologies, sampling, weighting and ethics. You’ll learn through real life, hands-on experience, webinars, seminars and specialist workshops. They will provide you with dedicated training designed to achieve the industry recognised Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate accreditation. Networking is a key skill so they have Early Careers events with other Graduates, Placement Students and Interns across the company.
