HR Leaders Roundtable: Mum, Leader, Both
HR leaders build the policies, hold the culture, and carry everyone else through life's biggest transitions. Many of them are also mothers - managing the same pressures at home that they're helping others navigate at work, with very little support pointed in their direction.
We're bringing together a small group of senior HR and People leaders to talk honestly about what that actually looks like. Hosted by Ling Taylor, Partnership Director, and Louise Fraser, Chief People and Transformation Officer at Instant Impact — both mothers, both navigating this first-hand.
What are organisations doing well to support mothers returning to and rising through the workplace, and where are they still falling short? What does coming back from maternity leave into a senior role really feel like, and what should HR be doing more deliberately to change that? And what does it mean to lead at the top while raising a family, in organisations that still haven't fully worked out how to support it?
You don't need to be a mum to join this conversation, but it's shaped by that experience.
Held under Chatham House rules, over coffee.
