4 January, 2013
Felix Mitchell, co-founder of graduate recruitment agency Instant Impact, recently commented in an  article in the business technology supplement of the Daily Telegraph, focusing on the utility of LinkedIn to recruiters; in its value to connect with a much wider labour market and more easily advertise for jobs.

The article cites his insight that:

“We mostly look out for our applicant’s connections when we are looking for people to approach...

But Felix also warns against the danger of taking a LinkedIn profile at face value:

"But we also try and talk to applicants on the phone and then meet them. We think it’s a much fairer way of seeing what they are really like!”
